Corporate Commitment: Vancouver Door Company and its employees strongly believe in maintaining smart, environmentally friendly practices to insure a healthy planet for future generations.

Manufacturing Process: All of our products are manufactured at our facility in Puyallup Washington. We limit the waste going into landfills by recycling materials to be utilized elsewhere. Energy consumption has been decreased in every aspect of our operations.

Products: The majority of the products we produce contribute to projects requiring Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits for both new and existing buildings. We are certified with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to carry a chain of custody (COC) insuring the products we label are manufactured with components extracted from well managed forests. Our products also comply with many clean air requirements established to reduce gas off emissions caused by formaldehyde. We do this by controlling the amount of Urea Formaldehyde in the glues used both by us and our vendors. Reducing the VOC’s Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in the finishes that are applied to the product also contribute to the clean air initiatives being adopted. The majority of our products are produced with recycled or post industrial materials.

We are thrilled to announce we are the first company to be licensed to provide a recycled core that can be continually re-used with minimal impact to the environment. We can also offer a rapidly renewable product produced from wheat or “ag” fiber materials. Materials and components are sourced from regional suppliers whenever possible.

*Only projects that are within the regional parameters specified will be claimed as regionally sourced by us.
